What is Ethereum Classic Wallet?

Ethereum Classic is created after the hard-fork and it is a continuation of the original Ethereum blockchain that runs smart contracts. Ethereum Classic was created when some of the members of the Ethereum community rejected the hard-fork on the grounds of "immutability"- the principle that the blockchain cannot be transformed or modified, and decided to keep using the unforked version of Ethereum. It provides a decentralized Turing-complete virtual machine, the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), which can execute scripts using an international network of public nodes. Ethereum Classic and Ethereum have a value token called "Ether", which can be transferred between participants, stored in a cryptocurrency wallet and is used to compensate participant nodes for computations performed in the Ethereum Platform.

Ethereum Classic became one of the 12th largest cryptocurrency in terms of market capitalization. It leaped from the 12th position to the 11th position up the ladder, with a market capitalization of $1,698,691,802.
