Opera, a Web 3.0 browser company, is now integrating with Elrond, a high-throughput blockchain.<\/p>\n

While moving from another ecosystem, Opera users will now be able to access Elrond\u2019s scalable network, applications, and other offerings without having to sign in separately. Compatible browsers and wallets can offer a huge boost to the quality of Web 3.0 user experience.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the development, Danny Yao, Senior Product Manager, Opera Crypto Browser, said that Elron\u2019s entry is meant to help Opera add support for the existing ecosystem dApps and the native token EGLD.<\/p>\n

Beniamin Mincu, CEO at Elrond, said the Opera\u2013Elrond integration is going to help minimize friction for the new Web 3.0 users.<\/p>\n

One of the first few web browsers, Opera launched<\/a> a beta variant of its ambitious Crypto Browser Project in January 2022 to crypto onboard 350 million (existing) users. The primary function of the browser is to allow seamless application switches without repeated wallet sign-ins. In March this year, the Norwegian browser firm first extended in-browser wallet support to Polygon, Solana, and six other crypto ecosystems. With Elrond\u2019s entry, Opera will have nine blockchains as part of its cross-chain vision for wallets.<\/p>\n
