A well-known street in the commercial part of town has now joined the recently launched city\u2019s airport terminal in the metaverse. Church street, a vibrant lane at the heart of the city\u2019s commercial hub, is going to set up shop in the metaverse with virtual stores, concert halls, public art and cultural spaces.<\/p>\n<p>It will also have an auto to navigate the various parts of city.<\/p>\n<p>Luru, the metaverse-based counterpart of the street, will be unveiled at the 25th Bangalore Tech Summit (BTS). The Summit begins today and ends on 18 November 2022. Since then, it has generated a lot of excitement and curiosity so far. It is also the world\u2019s first metaverse-based airport.<\/p>\n<p>The popular street\u2019s arrival in the metaverse is meant to further consolidate the city\u2019s digital presence. Bengaluru is already widely known as the silicon valley of India.<\/p>\n<p>Users can experience the virtual world of Luru through web browser on mobile phones, desktops, and headsets.<\/p>\n<p>An initiative by UnboxingBLR, Luru is powered by GMetriXR, a metaverse and Web3 platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Manish Malhotra, Hombale Films, and Third Wave Coffee are some of the well-known names acting as launch partners for Luru. Hombale Films, the production house of recent blockbuster films Kantara and KGF, said that they will also be launching virtual experiences based on the worlds of both recent hits in Luru.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLuru is a vibrant reflection of the city of Bangalore, and the plurality of experiences this wondrous city has to offer.
