How to Report Cyber Fraud in India

Call 1930 immediately.
This is the national cyber fraud helpline. It triggers the CFCFRMS fund-blocking process with banks, wallets and, since January 2026, crypto exchanges.

Report on cybercrime.gov.in.
Choose “Report Financial Fraud” and save your acknowledgement number.

Keep the evidence.
Save the transaction ID or UTR, the amount, the time, the receiving account or UPI ID or wallet address, and screenshots of the chats or calls.

Tell your bank or app.
Block the affected card, UPI ID or account through official channels only.

Follow up with the police.
Take your acknowledgement number to your local or cyber police station if an FIR is needed.
