Request cryptocurrency is the native token of the Request Network, which is a payments interface designed to facilitate P2P transactions on the blockchain. The unique thing about Request is that the service is push-generated, not pull. This means that all payments are initiated by the potential receiver sending a “request” to the sender. The sender, in such circumstances, can choose to either make the payment with a single click or deny the request.
The Request Network is one of the most promising payments solutions out there. The network conforms to international tax standards, serves as proof for internal audits, and is compatible with most popular cryptocurrency wallets.
In this article, we’ll explore how you can invest in REQ cryptocurrency through CoinSwitch Kuber, India’s most popular crypto platform with more than 14 million active users!
- REQ crypto is one of the most promising P2P payments solutions out there.
- Its current market cap is approximately $216 million at writing.
- You can buy REQ crypto on CoinSwitch hassle-free!
Steps Involved in Buying Request in India
Step 1: Open CoinSwitch
The first step is to, of course, download the CoinSwitch Kuber app on your Android or iOS mobile phone. Alternatively, you could also visit our website and enter your phone number and we’ll SMS you a link to the app!
Step 2: Register and open an account
Once you have completed the first step, you need to create an account on the app. Here are the steps that you will need to follow:
- Once the app has been successfully installed, you will be asked to enter your mobile number for OTP verification. You will then be asked to set a PIN on the app for added security. We encourage you to use a sequence of numbers that are hard to guess, to secure access to the app.
- You’re in! After successfully setting up your PIN, you will be directed to the home page.
For any queries, please feel free to contact our support team here.
Step 3: Complete the KYC
It takes only a moment for the app to register you and verify everything, and once it’s done, you will be notified that your verification is complete. Voila! You’re ready to start trading/investing in Request (REQ).
Step 4: Add bank details
To transfer funds from your bank account to your wallet in the CoinSwitch app, you need to provide the app with the relevant details. These include your account number and the branch IFSC code only. Once these details have been provided, the app will send ₹1 to your account, to verify that the details are correct, and if they are, the account is then linked to your profile.
Note: We encourage you to perform all transactions related to your CoinSwitch account with your registered bank account only to avoid unnecessary mix-ups.
At this juncture, you’re free to explore the app and get a hang of the features. However, if you want to start investing right away, you’re going to need to complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) process. This is a step that has been mandated by the Government of India and is required to verify your identity with your bank and our servers. To complete this step, head to the “Profile” section of the app, at the bottom right corner, and click on “User Verification”.
Enter your name, PAN details, date of birth, and your email address for basic verification of your identity. Once this is done, you will be asked to take and upload a picture of your PAN card, along with a picture of a government-issued ID card to complete the verification.
