The show is the Indian adaptation of the international format The 1% Club. First launched in the UK in 2022, it has since been adapted across 15 countries, including the US, Australia, Germany, Spain, France, Israel, and Mexico.
Here’s how a night plays out. A hundred contestants compete simultaneously across 13 increasingly difficult rounds. Each one begins with ₹1 lakh. When a contestant answers incorrectly, their money goes into a collective pot that can grow to ₹1 crore.

Anil Kapoor has described it as a platform that finally rewards common sense: no coaching class, no trivia binge, no advantage to the person who read the most encyclopedias as a kid.
