Audius

Audius (AUDIO) is a decentralized streaming network that connects music artists to fans directly. It is an open-sourced blockchain-powered platform for artists, fans, and developers which seeks to change the way artists are compensated. Audius’s platform has its own native token called AUDIO. The platform rewards participants such as artists, listeners, and developers with the AUDIO token for their contribution to securing the network.

Audius (AUDIO) was founded by Stanford graduates Roneil Rumburg and Forrest Browning in 2018. Rumburg co-founded Backslash, a protocol for simplifying crypto transactions and Browning co-founded StacksWare, a data center management platform.
