What Is a Non-Custodial Wallet?
A non-custodial wallet is one where you alone hold the private key or seed phrase. No company can access your funds. You have full control but also full responsibility: if you lose the seed phrase or key, you cannot recover the wallet. Examples are MetaMask, Trust Wallet (when you hold the phrase), and hardware wallets. Use them for larger amounts. Back up the seed phrase offline and never share it with anyone. No legitimate service will ever ask for it.
