What Is Crypto Correction?

A correction is a temporary pullback in price during an overall uptrend. For example, Bitcoin might rise 50%, then fall 15%, then resume rising. That 15% drop is often called a correction. Some traders buy during corrections. The risk is that what looks like a correction can turn into a full downtrend. Use support levels and volume to gauge whether buyers are stepping in. Do not assume every dip is a buying opportunity. In India, buying in a "correction" is still a purchase; when you sell, gains are taxable.
