What Is RSI Indicator?

RSI (Relative Strength Index) is a momentum indicator that moves between 0 and 100. It is calculated from recent price changes. Values above 70 are often called "overbought" (price may pull back); below 30 "oversold" (price may bounce). RSI can stay overbought or oversold in strong trends, so use it with price action and not in isolation. Traders use RSI for divergence (price makes new high but RSI does not) or for entry near oversold/overbought levels. In crypto, RSI can be useful on multiple timeframes. It does not guarantee reversals.
