What Is Wallet Address?

A wallet address is a string (and often a QR code) that represents where you receive crypto. For Bitcoin it might start with "1" or "bc1"; for Ethereum it starts with "0x." Each network has its own address format. You share your address with the sender; they send crypto to it. Always verify the address before sending: one wrong character can send funds to the wrong place permanently. Do not reuse a Bitcoin address for receiving multiple times if your wallet gives you new ones (privacy).
